This policy explains how RunWiki ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the RunWiki app and website (the "Service").
Information we collect
- Health and fitness data. With your permission, we read workout data from Apple Health, such as distance, duration, pace, heart rate and routes. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.
- Information you provide. Your training goals, races, schedule, answers during setup, messages you send and corrections you make.
- Account information. Your email address and account identifiers if you create an account.
- Usage information. How you use the Service, and device and app information, to keep it working and improve it.
How we use information
We use information to provide the Service (including your wiki, training plan, projections and answers), to keep it secure, to fix and improve it, and to contact you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not share it with data brokers.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, data storage, content generation and analytics, under obligations to protect it and use it only to provide services to us. We do not share your health data with service providers for their own purposes, and usage information sent for analytics does not include your health data.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, property or safety of RunWiki, our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app's settings, or by emailing us. Some information may remain in backups for a limited time, or where we must keep it by law.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email hello@runwiki.app.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than where you live.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will let you know in the app or by other means. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
